The General Preoccupation of the Client

•  Love

The person is in a relationship or is single. If he is single, either he has taken the vows, has or still is living a drama (separation, divorce, death, health problems), or he hopes to meet someone. With experience, you will be able to look at someone and detect whether or not of there is a person dear to the client.

•  Career

The client either has a job, or lives from investments, or yet has a spouse who allows him/her to be at home. If he works, he is expecting a promotion (or a raise), is thinking of changing jobs, or is in the process of loosing his job. If he does not work, he is either looking for a job, or is enjoying living at the expense of the spouse.

•  Health

The person is ill, or wants to find out about a health issue, or as it happens quite often, is worried at the idea he might be sick one day.

These three points are necessarily restrictive, because each person is a new case. But they illustrate perfectly the art of a Tarot reader :

Even if everyone finds themselves confronted with the same issues, the reader must find the particular context which personalizes the client, and that is indeed an art.

Pseudo-clairvoyants who ask at the beginning of a session « What would you like to know ? » have altered this art. If the client answers : « What is going to happen in my love life with my partner ? », it is not necessary to be a clairvoyant to see that the relationship is going through difficulties. Do we seek answers when all’s going well, to ask a reader if it is going to last ? With such a question, the reader can manipulate the client’s expectations at will : « My dear lady, I can see in the invisible that you are going through a rough patch and that there is a break in your relationship… he is not the same and you are worried. One feels in you a sense of abandonment… » and so on.

It is easy to say anything when a person is expecting an answer : “« I see that you are going to meet a blond soul mate. » The client will become very attentive to anyone blond : he will eventually win the attention of one and indeed realize a meeting.

When we remain vague, the client will necessarily adapt what the reader is saying to his reality : « I see that you are going to have something to do with legality, with the law or the government. » The Tarot reader cannot be wrong, because each individual receives at one point something from the government, even if it is in the form of a tax form. But if on his way home, he gets a parking ticket, in his mind : fine = law = government, and he will say to anyone who wants to hear it that the reader was fantastic, because he had predicted the ticket! Ticket ? The reader never even used that word !

These comments indicate, beyond the shadow of a doubt, how easily one can manipulate an individual. A good Tarot reader will discover the reasons that motivate a consultation by himself. To perform a good reading, one must master the Tarot and how to give an effective consultation. But things should be taken one step at a time ! For the moment, the most important thing for a beginner is to learn to master the divinatory aspect of a game.

We should remember that a Tarot reader should not be afraid to be precise, not only because he will influence the client, but also because he will give him verifiable elements, which will help him take charge and modify his destiny.
